Burcu Sülek

White and blue like the Bosphorus at dawn — Golden Horn echoes centuries of art and memory, where nature and culture flow as one. A collaboration between Burcu Sulek and miniature artist Onur Hastürk, Golden Horn revives the 15th-century “Haliç” motif once adorning Iznik tiles. Each leaf impression, cast in papier-mâché and hand-painted in blue and white, carries Istanbul’s luminous past into the present.
